Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange Texas Toast slices evenly apart on the baking sheet. Butter one side of the Texas Toast and sprinkle with garlic salt.
Place in the oven to bake for 6 minutes, then flip and bake for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside.
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain liquid and return ground beef to the skillet.
Sprinkle the Sloppy Joe seasoning over the ground beef and stir together.
Bring skillet back to medium heat then pour the Sloppy Joe sauce over the ground beef. Cook and stir for about 5 minutes, until well combined.
Spoon the Sloppy Joe on top of each slice Texas Toast.
Add about 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Return to oven and baked for about 5 minutes until cheese is melted. Remove from the oven.
Transfer two slices to each serving plate and enjoy!

Texas Toast Sloppy Joe
Serves 8
Ingredients:
8 slices Texas Toast
Butter, for bread
Garlic salt, to taste
2 lb ground beef
1 packet Sloppy Joe seasoning, 1.31 oz.
1 can Sloppy Joe sauce, 24 oz.
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
